Fitness For Travellers & Locals – Tribeca Studios

Ealing Broadway is this thriving, crazy, culturally adept part of the Ealing Borough with recent additions in the form of varied restaurants, a fast-improving train station and my new favourite for fitness, Tribeca Studios.

London and its slightly less obtrusive sibling, Greater London, can sometimes feel like they are two different entities, which I guess they are. You have what I call Central London, for me this means anything that is after Shepherd’s Bush on the Central Line. Then, you’ve got what I call home. Ealing has been my home for years but it’s only recently that I’ve started to take full advantage of the gems hidden around the Broadway.

Tribeca Studios

It’s been a mere few months since Tribeca Studios has opened and it’s only been two weeks since I’ve started to go to their pay-per-class workouts. It feels like they’ve been there forever (I wish). Whether it’s to start my day or end it, the welcoming smile of the staff is always genuine. You start to feel like they’re your friends. I guess my old social life has been replaced with Tribeca and considering I’ve gone there nearly EVERY DAY for two weeks on a special package promotion and then four days a week since, I’m not surprised they feel like friends.

The Whole Package

Looking quite suave and serious from the outside, once you enter Tribeca there is this settling of calm. You’re there to do something good. Something great, for yourself and your well-being. If you’re feeling a little dejected and still force yourself to go, the staff are right there to remind you with their bubbly conversations exactly why you made the effort in the first place.

In the two-week promotion I tried a few of their classes and found it extremely hard to choose a favourite. Of course, different classes appeal to people on an individual basis and I think the reason I started to go is still the highest contender – BOXING!

Tribeca Studios

Tribeca Studios promotion of two free weeks is absolutely amazing.

My workout schedule for my free two weeks:

Monday 20th June – CX And Stretch – 7.15pm – Anthony
Wednesday 22nd June – Pilates – 6.20pm – Margaret

Each class is different, focused, and Tribeca have definitely pulled-out all the stops with the trainers that take you through your paces in their specific classes. Here you’re getting a high level of professional support and encouragement in classes that get you to step out of your comfort zone, while simultaneously being comfortable in doing so.

Try It Yourself – Tribeca Studios

Within the two weeks I’ve been going to the studio I have learnt much more about looking after my body, how to stretch and which small things make a bigger impact. What I also love about Tribeca Studios is that you don’t need a contract. There’s no obligation and it’s perfect for anyone who’s travelling for work and leisure. The pay-per-class concept also means anyone that’s passing through Ealing can go along and get a taste of what Tribeca is all about, plus book the package that best suits them.

Along with a taste for a healthy and positive lifestyle, you can also grab one of the delicious smoothies from their smoothie bar. Choose from 5 different flavours, have a chat with the Tribeca girls, and you can even put your name down to order them, so you’ll have a fresh smoothie made for you straight after your class.

The last two weeks have consisted of a clear mind for myself, better meals and a body that feels its most productive. Working out at home can be great too, but you won’t get the same sense of accomplishment and support as you do in the three studios at Tribeca.

Head over to their website or just pop in while passing through Ealing, there’s always a friendly greeting through the doors and down the stairs.
