There’s no lack of sunsets in my life at the moment. I haven’t been to many places in Australia yet but the one state that is my home has never-ending sunsets. I guess I’m on the right side of the world to watch this beauty go down.
Who knew I’d have such love for a ball of burning hellfire? What a miracle Earth is. This is the sort of thing that goes through my mind when I look out over St Kilda beach. As in the most least-like Australian beach is probably my favourite. I know. I’ve got issues. But in my defence, St Kilda is home. And there’s no better place than home.
Here, my heart feels a little lighter, as do my steps when submerged in the sea. Unless I try to walk fast, in the sea. Not recommended. Then you’ll feel like you’ve got sacks of sand tied to your legs. Trust me, you’d rather feel lighter.
