Best Food Screams This Halloween

There’s never a loss of things to do in London, but Halloween is a sure-fire way to light up your night. Whether it’s an evening indulging in masquerade, feeling through the streets with a blindfold or sitting down for an especially spooky meal.

Here are a few great places to make your way throughout Halloween week:

Joe’s Southern Chicken and Bar – Covent Garden

Halloween

Teaming up with The Rib Man, Joe’s have come up with the ultimate Halloween food eating challenge. If you’re brave enough, get ready to bare your teeth and munch on Joe’s Scorpion Wings – see if you can devour these while they’re glazed in The Rib Man’s hottest sauces.

There’s nothing more challenging than a Halloween challenge and possible win.

Established as a subterranean neighbourhood cocktail bar, at Behind This Wall you will find some of Hackney’s best offerings. Their cocktail menu has a selection of ingenious concoctions; combined with the most unusual ingredients and decorative garnishes. Expect to encounter The Salem With Reviver, £9, which is made using white rum, coffee liqueur, Maraska liqueur and maple-candied apple.

So, get your pointy hat on, embark your broom and I’ll see you there.

Big Easy Halloween – Covent Garden

Halloween

Who wants a pumpkin patch this Halloween? Head to Big Easy and follow the jack-o-lantern walk-way into their residence. Here you’ll find the special cocktail, Scarlet O’Horror, mixed with bourbon, cranberry and zesty lime.

Chunky Buddha at The Epicurean’s World Food Markets – St Katherine Docks

Halloween

Fridays have become even more popular as Chunky Buddha will be serving a Halloween special of Chicken and Pumpkin Coconut Curry with Red Rice. Expect the freshest ingredients to go in this bubbling pot accompanied by the perfect amount of spice and magic spells.

Explore the market but make sure you stop by this delightfully squeamish dish.

For one day only, you’ll find a delicious devilish concoction especially for Halloween. Created by bartender Sean Robertson at Harry’s Bar, the Bat’s Blood cocktail is created with a mixing of Rassay Whisky, Crème Cacao, Chambord and 1 dash of plumb bitters, garnished with flamed bat shaped orange peel. You’ll only be able to try this on 31st October, so make sure you’re all fired up for the exclusive cocktail.
